Consider a drug with the parameter values in healthy subjects: F = 0.1; V = 725 L; kel = 0.105 hr-1; ka = 3.0 hr-1; CL = 76 L/hr. Plot a concentration versus time curve after an oral dose of 100 mg. Contrast this with the results obtained with the same dose given to a patient with severe cirrhosis. Use the parameter values: F = 1.0; V = 675 L; kel = 0.078 hr-1; ka = 3.0 hr-1; CL = 54 L/hr. Pentikainen et al., 1978 Add a second line with these parameter values using the Add Line button.

  Healthy Subject Severe Cirrhosis
F 0.1 1.0
ka (hr-1) 3.0 3.0
kel (hr-1) 0.105 0.078
V (L) 725 675
