This message is for pharmacy educators (hope I have the correct mailing
group; if not, I apologize). Can any of you who are teaching
clinical/applied pharmacokinetics recommend software programs which may
assist undergraduate students in working through case studies? Thank you!

Dear Dr Rao,
Although I cannot supply you with the information you request, it may
be of interest to you to bring to your attention the activities of PCCAL
International ( A consortium of for advancing the use of CAL in pharmacy
and related subjects) We have an introductory pharmacokinetics
package available and we a currently collaborating with Prof. Gordon
Amidon of Ann Arbor, Michigan in producing a biopharmaceutics
package. We are also in contact with several other academic groups to
try and coordinate the production of further pharmcokinetic modules and
we would like to produce one on the sort of clinical aspects you refer to.
I hope to have a student review what isavailble in the next few months
and will keep you informed of any progress. We will be at the AAPS
exhibition in Seatle later this month Booth #335. Details of the
consortium are on the internet at http://www.coacs.com/PCCAL/.
Best wishes Steve Moss FRPharmS, PhD Co-director PCCAL

Dr. Rao:
I am not an educator but rather a student at the University of Florida
College of Pharmacy. Our classes use a program from Simkin, a company here
in Gainesville, FL, developed by Dr. J. Daniel Robinson, Exec. Assoc. Dean
here at UF. I am sure that he can help you out. The dean's office number is
(352) 392-9713. Good Luck.
Yours in Pharmacy,
Champ Barber
