Do any of your pharmacy programs have a "capstone" experience after completion
of didactic work? If so, could you send on a syllabus or course description.
Thanks.

The program at Creighton University uses the "Dispensing Lab" which is in
the final semester of didactic coursework, to serve as a capstone class.
The associated class time focuses on current professional issues, and pieces
not highlighted in other courses.
Our school is in the process of redesigning web pages, so I can't say where
exactly the syllabus will be later , but a start would be
http://pharmacy.creighton.edu also, it is a data-driven site so the class is
currently at
http://spahp.creighton.edu/student_affairs/syllabus.asp?crs_code=PHA466
During the lab, everything is on paper (handwriting even the label). It is
designed to flow much like a community pharmacy. Professors and students on
academic clerkships serve as patients and prescribers.
A major redesign is in the works, which hopefully will include cutting-edge
software for electronic medical record management, online claims
adjudication, and so forth.
The syllabus should be online at the above location, but might not detail
the total content of the course.
Hope this helps!
