Hi Everyone
I'd like to find about current methods that are being used to
characterize pharmaceutical tablet coatings. Existing literature points
only to subjective measurements, such as coating quality being visually
acceptable or not. However I am interested in quantitating the
uniformity of coating (such as surface roughness/smoothness) or coating
gloss.
Reflectance (Visible or Near-IR) based techniques are a choice. But are
these techniques being used?
Comments / Suggestions are welcome. Please direct responses directly to
me and I will summarize the outcome. Thank you.
