Solubilization of insoluble compounds is interesting and frustrating.
Have done a lot of work in the past for Bristol Myers Squibb for
insoluble drugs using hydrotropic solubilization. Essentially this is
adding compounds like niacimamide that are highly soluble in water and
alter the properties of water. I would be interested in testing
Triclosan with hydrotropic solubilizing agents.

A similar method would use excipients like sucrose and mannitol
to increase the solubility of the drug using a solvent deposition
technique. I used it for Nitrofurantoin with good results during
my Master's dissertation work.
